The Houston Rockets needed overtime to finish the job, but emerged with a 117–113 victory over the Orlando Magic on Monday (PH time) at the Toyota Center, extending their win streak to four and improving to 9–3.

Houston spent most of the night playing from behind, with Orlando leading by as many as 14 points.

But the Rockets forced OT thanks to a clutch hook shot from Alperen Sengun with 1.4 seconds left in regulation.

In the extra period, Amen Thompson threw down a go-ahead dunk with 52 seconds remaining, followed by a Kevin Durant jumper that pushed the lead to 113–110—enough to keep the Rockets in control.

Durant poured in 35 points, while Sengun delivered a massive line of 30 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists.

Franz Wagner paced Orlando with 29 points, but the Magic couldn’t close it out late, falling to 7–7 on the season.
