Kendra Kramer is charting her own path — one medal at a time.

Just a year after bringing home two medals from an international meet, the 16-year-old daughter of celebrity couple Doug and Cheska Garcia-Kramer made waves once again, bagging an impressive eight medals at the 2025 Asian Christian School Conference (ACSC) Swimming Championships held in Bangkok, Thailand, last weekend.

Representing Faith Academy Manila, Kendra stood on the podium for all eight of her events — a personal best that marked two years of work paying off.

“It took two years to see the fruits of my labor and witness God’s amazing grace,” she wrote on Instagram. “The waking up at 5 a.m. for weekend trainings, the three-hour sessions, the painful gym workouts, then school work before and after that, plus my extra curriculars — all the sacrifices have been worth it.”

“TBH, I’m even more inspired now. I’m just getting started!”

Behind every lap and medal, though, stands a support system that has kept her grounded. Her parents, Doug and Cheska, have been constants both in cheering from the stands and guiding her through the grind.

“Always cheering for you, Baby! The best is yet to come! Keep working hard!” Cheska commented on her daughter’s post.

Doug, a former PBA player and national athlete, also shared a heartfelt reflection on Kendra’s growth — one that spoke not only as a father but as someone who understands the discipline of sport.

“The moment you want this more than anyone, more than me or your mom or any coach, is the time you will truly improve and see the fruits of your labor,” he wrote.

“Sports is the great equalizer. No favorites, no bias. You get what you trained for.”

He went on to describe the heartbreaks, the tears, and the slow but steady progress Kendra endured over the past two years.

“The determination and consistency she shows. The hard work that's relentless. And despite the attention and recognition she gets, we love how humble she remains,” he added.

Backed by her family and fueled by faith, the young swimmer is showing that she’s ready for bigger stages ahead.

At just 16, Kendra Kramer is only getting started.
