Kevin Quiambao posted a double-double to power the Goyang Sono Skygunners past Arvin Tolentino’s Seoul SK Knights in the KBL.
Kevin Quiambao turned in a strong all-around performance to help the Goyang Sono Skygunners secure their first victory of the KBL season, edging out Arvin Tolentino and the Seoul SK Knights, 82-78, on Wednesday, October 8.
Quiambao showcased his versatility on both ends, finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a game that saw the Skygunners fend off a late rally from the previously-unbeaten SK Knights.

American import Nathan Knight led the way for Goyang Sono with 25 points and 14 boards, forming a formidable duo with the Gilas Pilipinas forward.
The Skygunners raced to an early 27-15 lead in the first quarter, setting the tone with crisp ball movement and tight defense.
The SK Knights, however, refused to go down quietly, trimming the deficit in the fourth quarter behind a late surge, only for Quiambao and Knight to deliver clutch baskets that sealed the win.
Tolentino, who had been a steady contributor for the SK Knights in their first two outings, struggled to find his rhythm, ending with just five points on 2-of-7 shooting along with four rebounds.
The victory gave the Skygunners (1-2) their breakthrough win of the 2025–26 season, while Seoul (2-1) absorbed its first loss.
