Alyssa Solomon is ready to begin her professional career with Osaka Marvelous in the Japan SV.League.
Alyssa Solomon couldn’t hide her joy as she officially introduced herself to Japanese volleyball fans as the newest member of Osaka Marvelous for the 2025-26 SV.League season.
The three-time UAAP champion described the move as a dream come true, joining the defending SV.League champions—one of the most storied clubs in Japanese volleyball.
“I am very honored and excited to join Osaka Marvelous, which is the champions 2024-25 in Japan and one of the best clubs all over the world as well,” Solomon said.
Her transfer to Osaka officially closes a decorated collegiate career in the Philippines, highlighted by three UAAP championships, a Finals MVP award, and two Best Opposite Spiker citations.

On the international stage, Solomon added back-to-back SEA V.League Best Opposite Spiker awards while helping Alas Women clinch silver at the AVC Nations Cup and multiple SEA V.League bronze medals.
With a new chapter ahead, the 23-year-old spiker sees this journey as a chance to grow further while contributing to a powerhouse squad.
“I would like to improve myself more and to contribute to the club as much as possible. I am looking forward to seeing fans, staff, and teammates soon,” said Solomon.

The 2025-26 SV.League season will run from October 10, 2025 to April 5, 2026.
