Czech Republic dominates Serbia for first win in FIVB Men’s World Championship

Czech Republic dominated Serbia, 25-22, 25-23, 25-20 for a strong start to its FIVB Men's World Championship bid at the MOA Arena in Pasay Sunday, Sept. 14.

Now on its fifth World Championship appearance since 1993, the No. 21 squad pulled the rug from under the favorites, the Serbs, who are ranked 12th in the world.

Czech Republic will look to sustain the momentum when it takes on third-ranked Brazil Tuesday, Sept. 16.
