Egypt is making its ninth consecutive FIVB Men's World Championship appearance since 1998.
Egypt stumbled in the second set but regrouped to beat Iran, 25-17, 16-25, 25-23, 25-20, in the FIVB Men’s World Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay Sunday, Sept. 14.
The Pharaohs thus kickstarted their ninth consecutive World Championship appearance on a high note.
