Dwight Ramos is back to work in Japan as the Levanga Hokkaido held their first complete practice ahead of the 2025–26 B.LEAGUE season in October.

Off-season additions Jahlil Okafor and Akatsuki Japan ace Keisei Tominaga were also seen participating in the team’s practice, with Hokkaido first preparing for a series of pre-season games in September.

The team will host the Levanga Cup 2025, taking Taiwanese club Hsinchu Toplus Lioneers on September 13, before taking on either KBL's Wonju DB Promy or fellow B1 club Nagasaki Velca the following day.

A week later, Hokkaido will also play the Fighting Eagles Nagoya in a two-game series.

Ramos arrived in Japan last week after a stint with Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025, where the team exited in the quarterfinals following a loss to powerhouse Australia.

Dwight emerged as one of the key bright spots for the team, averaging 16.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in five games.

Before returning to Japan, Ramos also spent the offseason watching his partner, Kim Kianna Dy, win the PVL On Tour title with the PLDT High Speed Hitters.

Last season, Hokkaido finished with a 21–39 record and missed the playoffs, but Ramos posted a personal-best scoring average of 11.5 points, along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 53 games.

The 26-year-old is entering his fourth year with the team after spending one season with Toyama Grouses during the 2021-22 season.
