Kenneth Llover spiked his record to 15-0 after the rousing victory over Luis Concepcion in the event dubbed as Mano a Mano in Manila.
Kenneth Llover preserved his immaculate record, adding a TKO win to what has been a promising boxing career at bantamweight.
This as Llover stopped Luis Concepcion in round 8 of their Mano a Mano match at the Winford Resort and Casino in Manila on Sunday night, Aug. 17.
Llover improved to a 15-0 win-loss record, including 10 KOs, with the result.
The pride of General Trias, Cavite made a punching bag out of the former two-time champion (WBA flyweight and super-flyweight) in the eighth round to force the stoppage.
A couple of left hit to the chin had Concepcion hobbling, before the official ended the bloodbath with still 30 seconds left in the round.
The win is a perfect follow up for Llover’s first-round stoppage of Japanese fighter Keita Kurihara in Tokyo, Japan earlier this year.
Concepcion, who is turning 40 years old two months from now, now totes a 40-12 record with 29 KOs.
