Baylon, who won gold at the IWUF 10th Sanda World Cup also in China back in April, was aggressive in this bout, scoring several takedowns while also utilizing his striking prowess to dominate his foe.
“I am just happy to win this bronze medal,” said Baylon.
“I hope I can win more tournaments and give pride to our country,” he added.
With five days left in the competition, Team Philippines now have two medals, with several athletes still in the running for the gold medal as well.
