The road to the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 quarterfinals is now clear, with Gilas Pilipinas set for a high-stakes knockout clash against Saudi Arabia for the right to face Australia.

Australia secured the top seed in Group A with a perfect 3-0 record, earning an automatic spot in the last eight.

Awaiting the two-time defending champions is the winner of the Gilas–Saudi Arabia duel, which tips off at midnight on August 12 (PH time).

For Gilas, the matchup offers a direct path to a showdown with the Boomers, one of the tournament favorites. A win would also keep alive the Philippines’ bid for its first Asia Cup podium finish since 2015.

In the other half of their side of the bracket, Group B winner Iran (3-0) will take on either Chinese Taipei or Jordan.

China and New Zealand also swept their groups to book quarterfinal slots.

The Chinese are in line to face either South Korea or Guam, while the Tall Blacks await the winner between Japan and Lebanon.
