Avenging his WrestleMania 41 loss, Rhodes is Undisputed WWE Champion once again after taking down John Cena in the main event of SummerSlam 2025.
In a high-stakes rematch, both men endured big spots and multiple finishers.
Rhodes in particular survived an Attitude Adjustment near the SummerSlam main stage, following an amazing visual as both men emerged from the entrance ramp.

But as Cody regained control, he gave a final salute to the 17-time champion before hitting a definitive Cross Rhodes for the win to become two-time champion.

The Wyatt Sicks also retained their WWE Tag Team titles after a chaotic TLC match against five other teams. US Champion Solo Sikoa likewise kept his belt, escaping a steel cage against Jakob Fatu.
In another hardcore match, Becky Lynch surived Lyra Valkyria to remain Women's Intercontinental Champion. In the men's Intercontinental Championship match, Dominik Mysterio retained over AJ Styles.
