Iraq intends to make the most of its fifth appearance in the FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Iraq was the last country to catch the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 bus after springing an upset against Bahrain, 85-72, earlier this year.
That game saw Demario Mayfield play the hero's role as he recorded his second triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
He averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.1 assists in the qualifiers.
