Kevin Quiambao has arrived in Sacramento to begin his U.S. training camp as part of his NBA dream pursuit.
Gilas Pilipinas forward and two-time UAAP MVP Kevin Quiambao has officially touched down in Sacramento, California, marking the beginning of his long-anticipated U.S. training camp as he continues to chase his NBA dreams.
The former De La Salle University star confirmed his arrival via social media, posting a photo from inside a plane with the caption, “Sactown babyyyy.”

Quiambao had previously revealed his plans to undergo personal training in the U.S., with hopes of landing a spot in an NBA Summer League team.
His first stop is Sacramento, where he also hopes to link up with Kings assistant coach and former Gilas captain Jimmy Alapag for guidance and mentorship.
The 6-foot-7 forward is fresh off a promising rookie campaign in the Korean Basketball League with the Goyang Sono Skygunners, averaging 16.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.3 steals across 23 games.

While he remains under contract with Goyang Sono until 2027, Quiambao has made no secret of his NBA aspirations and is taking full advantage of the offseason to explore that opportunity.
If an NBA call-up doesn’t come, Quiambao is expected to return to Korea and resume duties with the Skygunners for the upcoming KBL season. He is also part of the Gilas Pilipinas pool preparing for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup this August in Saudi Arabia.
