A historic championship deserves a historic finish. The 2025 NBA Finals are going the distance after the Indiana Pacers refused to fold in Game 6, dismantling the Oklahoma City Thunder, 108–91, to keep their title hopes alive.

Now, it all comes down to Game 7—airing live this Monday, June 23 at 8:00 a.m. (PH time) on One Sports, NBA TV Philippines, RPTV, and streaming for free on the Pilipinas Live app.

Tyrese Haliburton, playing through a nagging calf strain, posted 14 points and five assists in just 23 minutes. Obi Toppin exploded off the bench with a team-high 20 points, Andrew Nembhard added 17, and Pascal Siakam delivered a steady 16-point, 13-rebound double-double.

After a cold start, Indiana found its rhythm—drilling 15 triples, forcing 21 Thunder turnovers, and leading by as many as 31. They also won the key hustle categories: steals (16–4), blocks (5–4), and assists (23–14).

This sets up the 20th Game 7 in NBA Finals history, and the first since 2016, when LeBron James and the Cavaliers completed the only 3–1 Finals comeback ever, toppling the record-setting 73–9 Warriors.

For Indiana, it’s uncharted territory—their first-ever Game 7 on the Finals stage.

For reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Oklahoma City, it’s familiar ground.

Just two rounds ago, the Thunder responded to a Game 6 loss by blowing out the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals.
