Filipino gymnastics superstar Carlos Yulo ended up with four medals in the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships, his first action since the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The Philippines’ Carlos Yulo wrapped up his stint at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships with another bronze medal, finishing third in parallel bars for his final day of action in South Korea on Sunday.
Yulo, who competed in three apparatus finals on Sunday, finished third behind Japan bets Oka Shinnosuke and Tsunogai Tomoharu who ended up first and second place, respectively.
The Filipino was unable to clinch his fourth straight gold in the apparatus — just as he earlier fell off the top step of the podium in vault.

Yulo once again lagged behind in difficulty in his p-bars routine, performing with a difficulty score of 5.500. He, however, was able to execute it well, finishing with an execution score of 8.566.
He was also given a 0.100 bonus to finish with a 14.166 for third place.
Gold medalist Shinnosuke ended up with the highest execution score with 9.000, which made up the difference even as he performed a routine 0.100 lower in difficulty. Like Yulo, he also received a bonus to finish with 14.700 overall.
Second placer Tomoharu ended up with 14.466 with a 5.700 difficulty routine. He garnered 8.766 in execution.
Later on Sunday, Yulo finished 7th out of eight finalists in the horizontal bar.
Yulo struggled with his routine and fell off during his performance which hurt his chances at a podium finish.
Yulo thus ended up with four medals — three bronze and one gold — in his South Korea stint.
