Pro wrestler Darby Allin was among those who successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest on Sunday morning, local time, during the 2025 climbing season.

Allin, who is signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), was the only first-time climber among his group, which featured three Sherpas as well.

The live updates of Allin’s climb confirmed their Summit on Sunday.

At 32, Allin had previously planned to climb Mount Everest back in 2024 but postponed his climb after suffering a broken foot in an AEW match.

He began his ascent early April this year, just like other climbers that included Filipinos Jeno Panganiban, Miguel Mapalad, Ric Rabe, and the late PJ Santiago II who passed away during his quest for the summit.

Because of his preparation for the climb, Allin has not been on any AEW episode this year.

According to reports, it remains unclear if Allin will return to AEW, or if the climb will have any long-time effects on his health or ring-readiness.

During his career with AEW, Allin is a former two-time AEW TNT Champion and a former AEW World Tag Team Champion.

Before AEW, he also competed for various independent promotions including EVOLVE, Progress Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
