Carl Tamayo’s KBL championship dream is getting closer to reality.
Tamayo delivered another strong outing, pouring 18 points in the Changwon LG Sakers' convincing 80-63 win against the Seoul SK Knights in Game 3 on Friday (PH time), May 9.
The LG Sakers now hold a commanding 3-0 series lead with a chance to pull off a Finals sweep come Sunday (PH time), May 11 in Game 4.
After scoring a team-high 27 points in the previous outing, Tamayo stayed on point and added six rebounds--while hitting three triples.

Changwon import Assem Marei put up a strong double-double effort of 20 markers and 16 rebounds alongside four assists and three blocks.
Junseok Yang chipped in 14 points as the LG Sakers overcame a poor start and rode a strong second quarter to break the game wide open.
Changwon outscored Seoul, 25-15, in that period and built a 47-35 halftime lead and never looked back.
Meanwhile, Jameel Warney posted an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double in a losing effort for Seoul.
Juan Gomez de Liaño, who erupted for a KBL career-high 19 points in a Game 2 loss, only scored two points in limited action.
Sun-Hyung Kim contributed 14 markers in a loss as thee SK Knights are in danger of becoming the first KBL team to get swept in the Finals since the Jeonju KCC Egis in 2021.
