The top two teams of the Chinese Taipei’s P. LEAGUE+ return to EASL, along with two teams in the KBL.
The Taoyuan Pauian Pilots and Taipei Fubon Braves will represent Chinese Taipei’s P. LEAGUE+ in the 2025-26 East Asia Super League (EASL) season after advancing to the P. LEAGUE+ Finals.
The Pilots, the P. LEAGUE+ No. 1 seed, secured a direct berth to the Finals. The No. 2-seeded Braves defeated the No. 3-seeded Tainan TSG Ghosthawks 3-1 in their best-of-five semifinal series to join them.
Taoyuan will make its second consecutive EASL appearance after finishing as runners-up in their 2024-25 debut season. The Braves return to EASL after competing in 2023-24, where they exited in the group stage. Taipei previously participated in earlier EASL tournaments before the home-and-away season format launched, including the Super 8 (2017), Terrific 12 (2018), and Champions Week (2023).
The P. LEAGUE+ Finals between the Pilots and Braves tips off on May 5.
Meanwhile, Seoul SK Knights also secured a spot in the 2025-2026 EASL season after beating the Suwon KT Sonicboom in the KBL semifinals.
Seoul SK will return to the tournament since their first appearance in the inaugural 2023-2024 EASL season.
The Changwon LG Sakers will also join the Knights in the incoming EASL season, marking their debut to the tournament.
