Kiefer Ravena's Player Exclusive of the Air Jordan XXXIX is a nod to the Philippines, with a striking blue base and hits of red and yellow.
It was a pretty meaningful weekend for Kiefer Ravena.
On his 31st birthday, Kiefer complete a B1 sweep of his former team Shiga Lakes, with the Yokohama B-Corsairs taking the 77-75 home victory Sunday.
The weekend set against Shiga was Kiefer’s first time taking on his former team.
Ravena first signed to the then Lakestars for the 2021-22 season. Kiefer ended up playing three seasons in Shiga, including winning a championship in the B2 last season that allowed the Lakes to regain their place in Japan’s top basketball division.
In Sunday’s win, Kiefer fired 13 points to go along with three rebounds, two assists, and a steal. He hit a crucial three with 44 seconds to go that made it 76-72 for Yokohama.
Following the pair of victories, the B-Corsairs improved to 5-4 for the year in the B.LEAGUE, with Ravena averaging a steady 10.4 points per game.

To make things even better for Ravena, the “Phenom” also unveiled his first-ever PE with Jordan Brand.
The Air Jordan XXXIX x KR15 “Philippines” features a predominantly blue base, with hints of red and yellow.
“Growing up, all I ever wanted to do is hoop. Play Basketball and represent my country. This was my way of hoping that I can give my people something to cheer for,” Ravena said.
“My love for country has always been above and beyond the basketball court and now I get to show my love for the Philippines again.”
Jordan Brand signed Kiefer in 2021, with Ravena becoming the first Filipino in a stable of athletes that include signature stars like Jayson Tatum and Luka Doncic.
In the Asian setting, Chinese star Guo Ailun has a consistent helping of Jordan PEs, the same goes for Japanese ace Rui Hachimura of the Los Angeles Lakers.
