Jude Garcia emerged the Most Valuable Player of the 2024 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference despite loss to Cignal in the Finals.
In his return to the indoor volleyball circuit, former beach volleyball star Jude Garcia extended his dominance in the taraflex and emerged as the 2024 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference Most Valuable Player on Friday night.
Garcia was a reliable force for the maiden campaign of the Criss Cross King Crunchers as he delivered consistent all-around performances throughout the tournament.
The high-flying Garcia received the award, moments after the King Crunchers settled with a second-place finish to eventual champions Cignal HD Spikers in Game Two of the Finals.
Jau Umandal of Cignal and Greg Dolor of PGJC-Navy captured the Best Outside Hitter awards, while Jack Kalingking of PGJC-Navy collected the Best Libero recognition.
HD Spikers playmaker Cian Silang copped the Best Setter award, while Francis Saura of the D’Navigators earned the Best Opposite Spiker award.
To complete list, Peter Quiel of PGJC-Navy and Rash Nursiddik of D’Navigators emerged as the Best Middle Blockers of the competition.
