Including round 1 action earlier this month in Mongolia, Pelita Jaya is now 5-0 in the BCL Asia Qualifiers.

Justin Brownlee conspired with fellow PBA import KJ McDaniels to push Jakarta in the main BCL Asia tournament, scoring 10 and 15 points, respectively.

Brownlee also added six rebounds and three assists for Pelita Jaya, while McDaniels was a monster on the glass with a game-high 17 rebounds.

JaQuori McLaughlin actually led Jakarta with 24 points, while Brandon Jawato and Muhammad Guntara added 10 apiece for some strong local support.

Rivals in the Indonesian Basketball League, both Pelita Jaya and Prawira entered Wednesday’s clash with 1-0 records in round 2, with the winner taking a sure slot in the BCL Asia.

However, any hope of a close duel was quickly shattered by Jakarta, zooming to a quick 29-11 start right in the opening period.

Brandone Francis led Prawira with 16 points in the loss.
