The Savouge Aesthetics Spin Doctors picked apart the hapless Richmarc Sports 3B Elite Spikers in straight sets, 25-15, 25-21, 25-11, in the 2024 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference at the Ynares Sports Arena.

Coming off a rousing sweep of Air Force three days ago, Savouge carried over momentum, leaning on the duo of John Diwa and Charlee Magpayo to hike their record to 3-3 at fifth place.

Diwa and Magpayo anchored above the net with three blocks apiece, accounting for more than half of the team’s nine rejections.

Diwa finished with 12 points, nine of which coming from attacks, while Magpayo nailed five spikes and two aces.

Save for the second frame, the Spin Doctors barely faced any resistance as Rey Taneo dissected the Elite Spikers’ defense with his pinpoint passes.

Taneo dished out 17 excellent sets, allowing ten of his attackers to tally at least a point in the rout. Sherwin Caritativo and Nonwel Sanama provided ample support on offense with eight markers apiece.

Richmarc Sports 3B, meanwhile, continues to trudge along the cellar after failing to breakthrough after six attempts.

Kurl Rosete was the lone double-digit scorer for the Elite Spikers with 10 points.

Savouge Aesthetics guns for a three-game win streak when it takes on Maverick on April 21, Sunday, at the same Pasig venue.

Richmarc, on the other hand, continues its pursuit of a breakthrough when it tries to upend the D’Navigators on April 24, Sunday, at the Paco Arena.
