Francis Saura and the D’Navigators orchestrated a drubbing of the Maverick Hard Hitters to remain unblemished in the 2024 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference
Francis Saura and D’Navigators continue to cruise in the 2024 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference after blowing past the Maverick Hard Hitters in straight sets, 25-16, 25-18, 25-17, at the Ynares Sports Arena Wednesday.
Saura anchored above the net with a game-high 15 points, built on 10 attacks and five of his team’s nine blocks, giving the D’Navigators a 3-0 winning start.
Jayvee Sumagaysay provided ample support with 11 markers, while Ed Camposano collected 10 points and seven receptions in the winning cause.
D’Navigators rode the offensive brilliance of their troika to create commanding separation in each of the frames for a comfortable victory.
Dominating on all fronts, D’Navigators put up a 42-28 spiking disparity, 9-2 block differential, and a 4-0 ace gap over the Hard Hitters.
The Maverick remained winless in three matches.
No one from the Hard Hitters breached double figures as Kim Tan topped his side with nine points.
D’Navigators guns for 4-0 when it collides with VNS-Nasty on April 5, Friday,
Maverick, on the other hand, seeks to get back on track when it takes on Philippine Air Force on April 12, Friday.
Both matches will be held at the same Pasig venue.
