Skull-buster: Thirdy Ravena shows off stunning reminder in overcoming challenges
Japan B.League

San-en NeoPhoenix shooting guard Thirdy Ravena has always been serving looks no matter where he is.

He's that guy, whether in the Japan B.League or in the Philippines.

He's not afraid to cross boundaries and color outside the lines, even flexing his painted nails.

Or having tattoos in unexpected places.

Cargo skirts? Perfect for Japan winter!

Now, he's leveling up his drip with shiny bling. And we gotta say, it looks pretty dope.

"Man conquers the world by conquering himself," Ravena started his Instagram post by quoting Stoicism founder and Greek philosopher Zeno of Citium.

"Had this ring made to remind myself that I am greater than my challenges and stronger than my demons," he added.

But the highlight of his post was his new ring showing half a face and half a skull.

Choco Mucho Flying Titans libero Denden Lazaro-Revilla posted a comment that pretty much summed it up, "🔥🔥🔥"

Matthew Wright, who plays for the Kyoto Hannaryz in the Japan B.League couldn't help but agree.

"Toughhhhh," he commented.

Former PBA player Nico Salva also chimed in, describing the ring as "sick!"

Ravena has indeed overcome a lot of challenges, especially emotionally, as he's been criticized heavily whenever he represents Gilas Pilipinas.

It was no different this year, with many saying he doesn't deserve a spot in the national team.

But his spiritual resolve and mental toughness have always won. Don't forget, he blazed the trail for other Filipino players to play abroad.

You don't like it? He put a ring on it.
