After an impressive run in the Asian Games, the Philippine women’s national football team is now shifting its attention in preparation for the 2024 AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
The Filipinas returned home with a new sense of pride and their spirits lifted, following their elimination in the tournament's quarterfinals.
As they get more acclimated with coach Mark Torcaso’s system, it seems one of the Filipinas has already found her form under their new coach.
During the Asian Games, Sarina Bolden was on fire as she scored a goal in every match played by the Filipinas in the tournament.
In her international career with the Filipinas, Bolden has scored a total of 26 goals, the most in the team’s history.
The even better news? She plans on continuing her goal-scoring run.
In her Instagram story, Bolden reposted a video of her memorable goals for the country over the years, saying she’s looking forward to more.
“Can’t wait to keep scoring more,” wrote Bolden in her caption.

This should definitely bode well for the Filipinas as they begin their Olympic qualifying campaign on October 26 against Chinese Taipei.
If Bolden can continue scoring goals left and right for the national team, the Paris dream may soon become a reality.
