Ravena is in the thick of preparations for the new season.
To be at their best every game, athletes, when no one else is looking, go through a lot in training. Some wake up early in the morning to put up some shots and lift weights, while some hire trainers to enhance their skills on the court.
Like any other athlete, Thirdy Ravena goes through a similar regimen. Well, except fans see some of it.
In an Instagram video posted by trainer Jolo Tamayo on Thursday, Ravena is seen putting up shots in a gym.
“Unseen hours,” Tamayo wrote as caption.
Cignal HD Spikers’ Vanie Gandler doled out the perfect response to the said post.
“Unseen pero pinakita mo din sa ’min,” Gandler said.
She has a point.
But what matters now is that Ravena, who was left out of the Gilas Pilipinas lineup for the FIBA World Cup, is putting in the work in preparation for the upcoming Japan B.League season with the San-En Neophoenix.
The high-flying guard, who averaged 11.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.1 steals, is looking to help San-En claw back from a 16th place finish last season.
No doubt, those "unseen hours" will sure come in handy for Thirdy.
