Bolick is flexing in Japan!
Robert Bolick Jr. is treading new grounds as he practices with his new squad, the Fukushima Firebonds, in the second division of the Japan B.League, but he seems to be doing well.
He definitely is trying to learn more Japanese, as shown in this introduction video.
"I'm so excited to be here, thank you so much for having me. Very good place, very good city," he said.
And look, he's already showing the Japanese players his handles and his shooting touch.
Bolick even casually sank this half-court shot, as shared by coach Eric Weissling. Bolick will be playing in the 2023-24 season as the Firebonds' point guard/shooting guard. Other imports, such as Eric Murphy of the USA and Laopras Ivancus of Lithuania will play as forward/center.
