Fan-favorite coach Anusorn Bundit, famously known as Coach Tai, is headed back to the Philippines. He may have been already in the country.
In a Facebook post by Bundit's wife, she revealed the comeback of the former Ateneo Blue Eagles and Creamline Cool Smashers mentor.
"Sending husband to work in the Philippines. Earn a lot of money. Kids are eating and growing," the translation of Phavinee Romyanond's post said.
It has yet to be revealed where Bundit will take his talents.
Known for his "happy, happy" mantra, Bundit broke language barriers to lead Ateneo to its first titles in season 76 and 77. He also handled the Creamline Cool Smashers from 2017-2021, winning three titles.
Bundit was also appointed national team assistant coach but eventually resigned and returned to Thailand during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
