Another Filipina team will fight among the best in the world stage.
In another showcase of world-class Filipina talent, the Philippine Women's Beach Handball Team made history by qualifying for the 2024 World Championships.
The Philippine squad made that possible by bagging the silver medal in the 9th Beach Handball Championships held recently at Bali, Indonesia.
Coach Jana Franquelli shared the "successful campaign and significant milestone" in a Facebook post.
"Starting from scratch in 2012, we now have earned a ticket to the World Championships," she said.
"It was a total team effort. Both teams trained together and supported each other from the practice sessions in Manila leading up to the games."
