Maybe Chot Reyes only needs to figure out 11 names for the final lineup of Gilas Pilipinas when they face Lebanon and Jordan in the sixth and final window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Dwight Ramos, who has been averaging 13.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in the qualifiers, has shown his desire to fly back to Manila and don the Gilas blue.

The Ateneo alum says he has been in talks with Coach Chot and the rest of the SBP brass.

“We’re still figuring out all the logistics and everything, but I told them that I would be available. I would come back,” Ramos said in a post-game interview uploaded by the B.League.

The swingman, however, admits they still have to iron things out—as he is currently playing in the ongoing B.League season as part of the Levanga Hokkaido squad.

“I’m just hoping everything gets sorted out. Hopefully I can be there during the window and the practices and everything,” he said.

Ramos recently returned to B.League action after nursing an ankle injury. The question is: if he does return to Gilas, will he be in peak form? He sure hopes so.

“Still trying to get my ankle to a hundred percent, but I know it takes a while. Sprain was pretty bad, so I’m just getting out there and trying to do what I can.”

The Philippine team, hard at practice lately, will play Lebanon on February 24 and Jordan on February 27. Expect both games to be electric, as they will be held in the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. If you don’t have your tickets yet, now is the time to get yours.
