Gilas Pilipinas have finalized their 12-man roster for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 in Saudi Arabia, led by Justin Brownlee, Dwight Ramos, and June Mar Fajardo as they aim to reclaim regional dominance.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) on Thursday, July 31 unveiled the 12-man roster for Gilas Pilipinas that will compete in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025, set to tip off this August in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The final lineup features a mix of battle-tested veterans and rising stars:

- AJ Edu
- June Mar Fajardo
- Jamie Malonzo
- CJay Perez
- Calvin Oftana
- Dwight Ramos
- Justin Brownlee
- Scottie Thompson
- Kevin Quiambao
- Carl Tamayo
- Chris Newsome
Notably left out of the squad are Troy Rosario and RJ Abarrientos, who were part of the initial training pool. Oftana also flew out with the national team after nursing a double ankle sprain.

The 2025 FIBA Asia Cup marks another major test for Gilas Men as they aim to build on their success from the previous FIBA windows and improve on their ninth-place finish back in 2022.
Gilas is set to play an exhibition match against Jordan on August 2, just three days before kicking off its Asia Cup campaign versus Chinese Taipei.
Also in Group D are New Zealand and Iraq. The top team after the single round robin will secure a direct quarterfinal berth, while the second and third ranked squads will battle in the crossover playoffs.
