Former Gilas players continue to support the national team in whatever way they can.
The anticipation for the FIBA World Cup is getting more and more exciting as each day passes.
Come the tournament itself, what better way to support Gilas Pilipinas than by wearing some of the team's official merch?
Earlier this week, Kultura Filipino, known for promoting and selling local products in the country, announced their collaboration with Gilas for the team’s official and authentic apparel.
As part of promoting the merch, some of Gilas 2.0’s OG shooters were called in for the photoshoot.
Check out Gary David, Larry Fonacier, and Jeff Chan all rocking the new Gilas drip.
Some of the shirts have the word “PUSO” printed in the middle while the others have “Laban Pilipinas” and “Gilas Pilipinas.”
In an Instagram post, Fonacier shared some behind-the-scenes shots of their photoshoot.
Also present in the photoshoot was Ange Kouame, who has expressed his desire to play for Gilas once more, especially in the FIBA World Cup.
If there’s one thing certain, Gilas fans would definitely want the OG shooters in the lineup. But for now, it’s all about supporting the national team, which has begun its preparations for the biggest basketball tournament in the world.
