Aurora Gaming PH and Team Liquid PH face must-win matches at the M7 World Championship, with victories sending them to the knockout stage.
The pressure ramps up for the Philippine contingent at the M7 World Championship, as Aurora Gaming PH and Team Liquid PH return to the Swiss Stage with their tournament fate hanging in the balance.
With the knockout stage within reach, both Aurora Gaming PH and Team Liquid PH look to secure their spot in the next round, keeping their title hopes very much alive.
What to expect?
Aurora Gaming PH sets the tone at 6:00 p.m. (Manila time) against CIS powerhouse Team Secret. RORA enters the matchup with momentum after a best-of-one win over Mongolia’s Team Zone, keeping their knockout hopes firmly alive.
A victory over Team Secret would punch Aurora’s ticket straight into the next round, while a loss would push them into a do-or-die Round 5 scenario.
But Team Secret is nothing to be scoffed at, having upset ONIC ID in Round 3.

TLPH came off a tough 1–2 loss to Selangor Red Giants in a best-of-three that ended their unbeaten run but left their campaign far from over.
YG is coming off a 0-2 loss to Alter Ego, but they also have plenty of spunk by also upsetting ONIC in Round 2.

Win and advance, lose and survive
The goal is simple for both Filipino squads: win and advance to the knockout stage.
A loss, however, sends the Filipinos to Round 5, where survival becomes the only objective.
With a small margin for error, Aurora Gaming PH and Team Liquid PH step into the Swiss Stage spotlight knowing that their next games could define the rest of their tournament run.
The Philippines is the reigning champion in the M-series for five editions in a row.
