It's round two for Xtreme Gaming and Parivision in The International 2025 playoffs.
But this time, they meet in the lower bracket finals, with the winner advancing to the grand finals and face Saudi Arabia-based Team Falcons.
Xtreme Gaming is coming off an intense series against BetBoom Team, outlasting the Russian squad, 2-1.
The Chinese team, led by Wang "Ame" Chunyu and Zhao "XinQ" Zixing, started the playoffs in the upper bracket, defeating Tundra Esports before losing to Parivision in the next round and dropping to the lower bracket quarterfinals.
Xtreme Gaming swept Nigma Galaxy in the first match in the lower bracket before eventually beating BetBoom.
Should Xtreme Gaming beat Parivision, it would be Ame's third TI Grand Finals appearance, while XinQ will make his second grand finals appearance in a different team.
Ame first reached the finals back in 2018 under the PSG.LGD banner, where they lost to OG, a team that made a mad dash through TI8 as the ultimate underdogs.
PSG.LGD returned to the finals in TI10 against Team Spirit, with XinQ playing position four for the team. The Chinese team lost, 2-3.
Meanwhile, Parivision came off from a highly-contested upper bracket finals against Team Falcons, dropping their first series of the tournament.
Parivision made their way through the upper bracket of The International 2025, defeating South America's Heroic and Xtreme Gaming in just two games apiece.
Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko, who plays mid for Parivision, will attempt a breakthrough for his first grand finals appearance since leaving Vitrus.Pro.
The rest of Parivision, along with Russia's Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov, will try their hand for the Aegis in just their first appearance on the TI main stage.
Fan-favorite Team Falcons, on the other hand, will take a shot at their first TI win since its formation in 2017.
For Oliver "skiter" Lepko and Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu, this would be their second TI title should they emerge victorious from The International 2025, having won their first title in 2022 with Tundra Esports.
The lower bracket finals between Xtreme Gaming and Parivision will start at 4:00 p.m. (Philippine time) on Sunday, Sept. 14, while the grand finals will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
