Some of the top teams of The International 2025 made sweeping performances in the Dota 2 Tournament in Hamburg, Germany yesterday, Sept. 11.
Top seeded Xtreme Gaming won, 2-0, against Tundra eSports.
Xxs' offlane Beastmaster in game 1 and Slardar in game 2 carried Xtreme Gaming.
European powerhouse Parivision overpowered Heroic in the second series with another 2-0 of the TI14 main stage playoffs.
Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov led the way for Parivision in the first game with Lifestealer, while the support duo of Edgar "9Class" Naltakian and Andrey "Dukalis" Kuropatkin paved the way to a sweeping series victory.
Meanwhile, fan favorite Team Falcons were not behind their contemporaries as they surprisingly beat Chinese powerhouse Team Tidebound.
Falcons outdrafted Tidebound in the first game, while most of Falcons got their comfort picks, including Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen's Hoodwink, in game 2 that proved effective against Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang mid Puck.
The series between BetBoom Team and Nigma Galaxy saw a more competitive matchup, with Nigma Galaxy claiming first blood in game 1 behind Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan's mid Invoker.
In game 2 Nigma Galaxy led in the early and mid game until the 38th minute mark, where BetBoom scored a team wipe in a jungle clash led by Danil "gpk" Skutin's mid Puck and Vladislav "Kataomi`" Semenov's Disruptor with Aghanims Scepter.
BetBoom punctuated the match with a two-man chronosphere from Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko inside the Radiant's fountain to tie the series, 1-1.
Game 3 was more lopsided as gpk was able to pick Puck again while Pure dominated with a Templar Assassin carry pick to claim the series, 2-1.
All losing teams fall to the lower bracket and will fight their way for another chance to reach the grand finals.
Tundra Esports will take on Heroic starting at 4:00 p.m. (Philippine Time), while Team Tidebound will face Nigma Galaxy at 7:00 p.m.
Xtreme Gaming will clash with Parivision in the upper bracket semifinals at 10:00 p.m., followed by Team Falcons vs. BetBoom Team at 1:00 a.m.
