With poise and firepower, the SIBOL MLBB women’s squad stormed through the group stage unbeaten at the 2025 IESF Southeast Asia Qualifiers.

Team Philippines capped its dominant run with a 2-0 sweep of Thailand on Wednesday, September 3, following earlier victories over Myanmar and Vietnam to complete a perfect 3-0 record in Group B.

By topping the bracket, SIBOL set up a semifinal clash against Group A runner-up Cambodia (3-1), while Group A leader Malaysia (4-0) faces Myanmar in the other knockout pairing.

Only the champion and runner-up will advance to the 2025 IESF World Esports Championships, raising the stakes as Southeast Asia’s best battle for regional pride and a global berth.

Omega Empress’ main core composed of Rica “Amoree” Amores, gold laner Shen “Shinoa” Perez, EXP laner Gwyneth “Ayanami” Diagon, jungler Kaye “Keishi” Alpuerto, and roamer Mery “Meraaay” Vivero banner the Philippines’ first-ever all-women contingent in the tournament.

Nina Nicole Segismar joins as the team’s newest addition, while head coach Salman Macarambon—who steered Omega to the 2024 MLBB Women’s Invitational crown—calls the shots for SIBOL.
