Team Philippines, alongside Indonesia, remained unbeaten in the Southeast Asia division of the 2025 IESF Asia Qualifiers.
The Sibol MLBB men’s team moved within two wins of a group-stage sweep and a playoff berth following its dominant start in the Southeast Asia division of the 2025 IESF Asia Qualifiers.
Team Philippines earned a pair of commanding 2-0 victories against Myanmar and Thailand to wrest solo lead in Group A.
The roster — which includes Team Falcons PH standouts Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano and Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel, Team Liquid PH’s Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, and ONIC Philippines’ Duane “Kelra” Pillas — has yet to drop a game in the tournament.
Adding to the challenge, all of them are balancing their commitments with their local clubs in the MPL Philippines Season 16, which began last week.

Behind SIBOL, Myanmar and Brunei are tied for second in Group A with identical 1-1 records, while Thailand and Timor-Leste remained winless.
In Group B, Indonesia sits atop the standings with an unbeaten 2-0 card, followed by Cambodia and Laos at 1-1. Guam and Vietnam are still searching for their first win.
Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the crossover semifinals.
SIBOL looks to keep its unblemished run alive later in a 6:00 p.m. clash against Brunei, followed by an 8:00 p.m. encounter with Timor-Leste.
