The NU Bulldogs redeemed their earlier loss to the First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) with a stellar performance in the Grand Finals, dominating the MLBB Collegiate Cup 2025 and securing MDL Philippines Season 6 spot.
Barking on top once more are the NU Bulldogs.
National U solidified its dominance in the MLBB MOONTON Student Leaders Collegiate Cup (MCC) Season 2 with a commanding 4-1 victory over the NOVUS Bravehearts from the First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) in their Grand Finals duel.
Anchored by the tournament’s Best Roamer, Josh Prince "PACULAN" Paculan, who was named Grand Finals MVP, the Bulldogs exacted revenge on the same squad they lost to earlier in the upper bracket finals.
NU first ousted the inaugural titleholders, PHINMA University of Iloilo, with a 3-1 victory before flipping the script against the Bravehearts.
With the win, they claimed the lion’s share of the P500,000 prize pool and earned a coveted direct slot in the upcoming MLBB Development League (MDL) Philippines Season 6.
"Ang pinaka-happiest moment ko as a coach is 'yung nakikita ko 'yung mga players ko na nananalo," Bulldogs coach Patrick "Dhap" Palacio said post-game.
The tournament also celebrated individual excellence and fan-favorite talent through its seasonal recognitions.
Rojan "Nari" Macasaet of FAITH was named Best Jungler, while Kirk Clement Dave "KlutZ" Herrero of NU earned the title of Best Gold Laner.
His teammate, Rendell "Ren" Bangsal, took home the Best EXP Laner award, and Harold James "Xinchi" Blas, also from NU, was recognized as the Best Mid Laner.
The Public’s Choice Team award went to the reigning champions as well.
