Veteran experience and chemistry prevailed, as the players of Team Falcons PH will once again represent the Philippines in the IESF World Esports Championship 2025. Add Sanford & M6 Finals MVP Kelra to the mix and that's a heavyweight team for SIBOL.
SIBOL is not messing around for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang portion of the IESF World Esports Championship 2025.
Team Philippines is out to reclaim lost glory with a mix of veterans players and a boost of firepower in the men's MLBB team.
Gold laner Grant Duane "Kelra" Pillas of ONIC Philippines, who was hailed Finals MVP during the M6 World Championship, was chosen to boost the players of Team Falcons PH at the IESF.
They will be joined by EXP laner Sanford Vinuya of Team Liquid PH, who's no stranger to international pressure himself as part of the M4 champion squad with ECHO.
Last week, Team Falcons PH outlasted Team Liquid PH in the SIBOL combine.
This ensured gold laner Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano, mid laner Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel, EXP laner David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon, roamer Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo, and jungler Michael "KyleTzy" Sayson return to the IESF stage.
The former M-series champions with AP.Bren have secured the MLBB title in the 2023 edition of the IESF by beating Indonesia. Requitiano was hailed Finals MVP.
They also secured the MLBB gold medal in the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia by defeating Malaysia.
However, the Malaysians got their revenge in the finals of the IESF's 2024 edition.
Team Falcons' Robert "Trebor" Sanchez will remain as coach, while Vincent "Pandora" Unigo will be the analyst.
For the women's side, Omega Empress will be representing the Philippines for the first time in the IESF.
Midlaner Rica "Amoree" Amores, gold laner Shen "Shinoa" Perez, EXP laner Gwyneth "Ayanami" Diagon, jungler Kaye "Keishi" Alpuerto, and roamer Mery "Meraaay" Vivero will be competing, alongside Nina Nicole Segismar.
Salman "KingSalman" Macarambon of Omega Empress will stay on as coach.
Meanwhile, Execration clinches the SIBOL DOTA 2 representation with Joel Pagkatotohanan, Bryle Alvizo, Charles Delos Santos, Jinn Lamatao, Mark Jubert Redira, and Justine Grimaldo. Coach Wei Lee "Arthur" Yip stays on as coach.
The dates for the IESF have yet to be announced.
