A family that sticks together wins together.

That’s what Fnatic ONIC PH and head coach Anthony “Ynot” Senedrin showed in their rousing start in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M6 World Championship on Thursday, November 28.

“I know every team here has prepared. But for us, it’s about being consistent since the day we met… it’s all about the family thing,” Senedrin bared in the post-match press conference.

The reigning MPL Philippines champions made quick work of defending MPL Indonesia titleholders Team Liquid ID in their Swiss Stage duel behind strong games from jungler King "K1NGKONG" Perez and Gold Laner Duane "Kelra" Pillas.

Using his signature hero in Suyou, K1NGKONG wreaked havoc and tallied a perfect KDA composed of five kills and seven assists to claim the Match MVP award.

Not to be outperformed is Kelra, who finished with five kills and six assists playing as Bruno.

“I’m very happy that it’s new here – different country, different setting, but still the same thing for us,” Senedrin said.

He also praised ONIC’s preparation en route to a convincing win in just 11 minutes and 11 seconds, forcing Team Liquid ID to just tally five kills throughout the match.

“It seems that they are still using a strategy from way back and fortunately we’re prepared for that. The game showed it evidently.”

Up next for the Fnatic ONIC PH are fellow 1-0 squad CFU Gaming of Cambodia, who pulled off a stunning comeback win against NIP Flash.
