Filipino Dota 2 team Execration was unable to sustain their momentum as they fall to Talon Esports, 1-2, in the upper bracket semifinals of The International 2024: SEA Closed Qualifiers
Execration put up a gallant effort against Talon Esports but fell short in the upper bracket semifinals of The International 2024 Southeast Asia Closed Qualifiers, 1-2.
With the loss, Execration will fall to the lower bracket where they will wait for the winner between the PH-Mongolian team Prism Esports and Mongolian team IHC Esports.
In the lower bracket round 3, TNC Predator will face today Bleed Esports, who lost to Aurora Gaming in the upper bracket semifinals, 1-2.

Meanwhile, Manila-based Talon Esports will play against Aurora Gaming in the upper bracket finals. The winner will qualify for The International 2024 (TI13), while the loser will drop to the lower bracket finals for another chance for a slot in TI13.
