RSG PH emerged as the victors over Blacklist International, 3-1, in their MPL Philippines Season 13 lower bracket matchup at SM Southmall on Friday.

In Game One, RSG kicked off their lower bracket run with a lopsided 19-2 kill score against Blacklist.

Clarense "Kousei" Camilo delivered a stellar performance on Harith with an 8-0-5 KDA, leading the Raiders to an opening-game victory against the Codebreakers.

In Game Two, RSG drafted a Lou Yi, Chip, and Claude combination to utilize swift map rotations and team fight initations. Arvie "Aqua" Antonio on Lou Yi saw a window of opportunity during the 20-minute lord contention, and his diversion play to Blacklist’s defenseless base sealed the deal.

Meanwhile, Blacklist refused to be swept as they fought tooth and nail in Game Three.

Both teams showcased meticulous calculations and discipline, but Blacklist drew first blood against RSG past the sixth-minute period. Salic “Hadji” Imam on Novaria unleashed his prowess for the Codebreakers, providing vision and spewing massive damage at the same time against the Raiders. Blacklist stopped the bleeding as they performed a successful base siege, bringing the series to 2-1.

Hadji was hailed as the MVP with a 4-1-4 KDA.

In Game Four, RSG stomped Blacklist’s hopes to extend the series further, capping off the game in just 12 minutes. Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo on Paquito punched through with a 6-0-1 KDA.

RSG advanced to the lower bracket finals to challenge the defending champion Falcons AP.Bren for the last MPL grand finals berth and MSC slot on Saturday.
