M4 champions Team Liquid ECHO secured an upper bracket finals slot, sending the 2022 MSC champions RSG PH to the lower bracket via sweep during the MPL Philippines Season 13 playoffs at the SM Southmall on Thursday.

In Game One, Liquid ECHO stole the first turtle, but RSG eliminated Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno on Fredrinn and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya on Terizla as a trade. RSG showcased macro presence and did not concede any deaths until the six-minute mark.

The Raiders put KarlTzy in a penalty zone in the middle lane after an error in positioning, as the game timer ticked past the seven-minute mark RSG’s lead slowly slipped away after Liquid ECHO’s crucial pick-off against Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto to secure the first lord of the game.

Alston “Sanji” Pabico on Novaria ensured the safety of ECHO with his astral echo and astral recall plays to check the bushes for a possible ambush. The Cavalry drew the first blood after taking out three Raiders during the last push to RSG’s base.

Sanji’s Novaria was hailed as the MVP with a perfect 5-0-4 KDA and 100% kill participation.

Game Two shared the similar storyline where Liquid ECHO pressured RSG with early game aggression.

RSG secured the second turtle objective and Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo on Paquito destroyed Liquid ECHO’s top lane outer turret at the seven-minute mark, trimming down the gold lead. The Cavalry refused to back down without a trade against the Raiders, swiftly eliminating Demonkite on Barats and Clarense "Kousei" Camilo on Roger.

KarlTzy on Baxia got the job done securing jungle objectives, leading Liquid ECHO to match point with a 2-0 game victory against RSG. He earned the game MVP badge with a 3-2-9 KDA.

In Game Three, the momentum favored RSG but their lead slowly slipped away from their grip. Liquid ECHO reversed the aggression with a counter engagement play at the bottom lane against RSG during the seven-minute mark. Frederic "Bennyqt" Gonzales on Moskov eliminated Demonkite’s Barats on the run with precise calculation on spear of destruction play.

Liquid ECHO crumbled the remaining RSG’s inhibitor turrets before completing the sweep. Bennyqt on Moskov took the spotlight with a 4-2-7 KDA.
