MPL veteran Ribo’s positive words helped Smart Omega halt their six-game skid in MPL Philippines against TNC Pro.

Smart Omega finally snapped their six-match losing streak in MPL Philippines Season 13, and finally entered the winning column after a quick sweep of TNC Pro Team.
The team has to thank their veteran sub, Carlito "Ribo" Ribo and his motivational words.
"Gusto ko lang din na ma-motivate sila, kasi puro lose streak na kami. Tapos parang nakikita ko sa mga kakampi ko at sa management na parang nado-down, na parang nawawalan na agad ng pag-asa," Ribo shared of the team's morale.
"Kaya naman din namin manalo ulit. Nakakasabay pa naman," he added.
His uplifting words resonated with Omega’s jungler, John "H2wo" Salonga.
"Binabasa ko rin, tapos ina-apply ko sa game yung mga pino-post niya. Laking tulong din," H2wo said.
Aside from the motivational boost, Smart Omega is focusing on what they do best to keep their playoff dream alive.
"Magii-stick lang kami sa kung anong comfort namin. Kunyari, kapag nag-try kami sa scrim, kapag gumagana yung mga ginagamit naming hero sa scrim tapos komportable kami, mag-stick kami sa mga ganung gawain para mag tuloy-tuloy momentum," H2wo explained.
Smart Omega will try to score win number two in MPL Philippines Week 4 against RSG this Saturday.
