Aside from the glory and the money, winners of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M-Series are given the honor to choose a hero for a championship skin.

Five editions in, the world champions have not disappointed with their selections, including four picks from Filipino teams.

In light of AP.Bren making their new selection following their M5 conquest, let’s revisit the championship skins throughout M-Series history.

EVOS Legends - Harith  (M1)

Indonesia’s Evos Legends made history as the first M-Series champions, beating their compatriots Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) Hoshi 4-3 in the Grand Finals back in 2019.

The Evos Legends championship gave birth to the M1 Championship skin, Harith.

Bren Esports - Lancelot (M2)

Bren Esports ruled M2 in early 2021, becoming the first Filipino champion on the MLBB world stage. The local powerhouse secured their world championship after quelling Myanmar’s Burmese Ghouls in an intense Grand Finals, 4-3.

Bren Esports chose Lancelot for their championship skin in honor of  Finals MVP Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno’s excellent lightning-speed performance using the assassin hero.

Blacklist International - Estes (M3)

In December 2021, Blacklist International capped a dominant run in their team history with an emphatic M3 world championship, sweeping local rival Onic Philippines in the Grand Finals.

The Codebreakers chose the utility support Estes for their championship skin as an homage to team captain Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna.

The choice sparked a #WeWantEstes movement, as OhMyVeenus revealed in a stream that Blacklist International had to provide three options to MLBB developer Moonton for the championship skin, giving the possibility that the support hero could be skipped.

In the end, the team and their legion of fans got what they wanted as Estes received a sleek black and white look, matching Blacklist International’s color scheme.

ECHO Philippines - Chou (M4)

ECHO Philippines went for a dominating sweep in the M4 Grand Finals, denying Blacklist International of a historic back-to-back.

The Orcas went for the fighter Chou for their special skin,, resonating with their aggressive play style and roamer Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera.

AP.Bren - Brody and Paquito (M5)

In the first M-series championship in Manila, AP.Bren extended the Philippines’ dominance in MLBB, beating Onic Indonesia in the Grand Finals, 4-3.

With the win, the Hive squad made history as the first team to win the M-World Championship twice.

To add to the history, AP.Bren also got two championship skins, with Brody getting the honor for the mainline championship skin.

For the first-ever Finals MVP skin, EXP laner David "FlapTzy" Canon chose Paquito, the MLBB fighter hero inspired by eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.
