Things are gonna get more interesting in the Land of Dawn for Season 13 of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League - Philippines (MPL-PH), starting March 15.

For one thing, the league will be implementing a new point system to keep things competitive.

In Season 13, the winner of a 2:0 best-of-three will get three points. If a game reaches 2:1, the winner would still get three points.

Previously, the winner of a 2:1 match will only get two points.

Meanwhile, the team at the losing end of a 1:2 match will get one point.

During the playoffs, the league will also be implementing a Gauntlet Format.

The top three seeded teams from the regular season will get a direct berth to the Upper Bracket semifinals.

Meanwhile, the remaining three teams will be competing for the remaining spot in the Upper Bracket semifinals.

The fifth and sixth ranked teams will have the harder road, as they face each other in a best-of-five series. The winner of that match will take on the fourth tanked team in another best-of-five.

The eventual victor will get the final spot in the Upper Bracket semifinals.

The playoffs will then proceed with the double elimination format, including the Lower Bracket.

AP.Bren will be defending their title against Blacklist International, ONIC PH, RSG PH, Blacklist International, ECHO, Minana EVOS, Smart Omega, and TNC Pro.
