Moonton has announced the launch date for the M4 Champion skin "ECHO" for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang hero Chou, and it's seriously giving off some Tidus vibes.
The presale starts August 14 until 20. It will then become available on August 21, with a 30% discount during the launch week.
Fans shared a peek of the ECHO skin a few days earlier, and it's definitely giving off blitzball vibes from Final Fantasy X's Tidus.
The hero also features the chant, "Echo loud, Echo proud", while the color scheme revels in the purple theme of the M4 world champions.
Naturally, Chou's effects also showcase the orca in ECHO's logo.
"The skin design is great and extraordinary, it's really something that we like," according to roamer Tristan "YAWI" Cabrera, as posted by the Mobile Legends Esports page.
"The skin design screams 'sheeshable' in every way," added midlaner Jankurt "KurtTzy" Matira.
ECHO was unanimous in selecting Chou for their hero skin, with Yawi saying it was playable by all five members of the team and it can be used in any role. In fact, they picked the fighter 97 times with a 60.82% win rate since MPL Philippines Season 1, according to Mobile Legends Esports.
Yawi selected the hero the most at 48.

All fans will be on the lookout after the squad released their roster, featuring Yawi, Jay pee "Jaypee" Dela Cruz, Karl Gabriel "Karltzy" Nepomuceno, Benedict “Benny” Gonzales, Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, and Alston “Sanji” Pabico.
