Who enters MPL-PH Hall of Legends next? Fans chime in with favorites
Blacklist International

The esports wing of social media, especially the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Phiippines page, has been abuzz as the talk about the next Hall of Legends inductee grows.

With only two days left to make nominations, fans are giving it their all for their own takes be heard.

Here are the most popular names for that 12th Hall of Legends spot.

Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap

Blacklist International's Agent Zero is a shoo-in for fans, if anyone reads the comments section. The EXP laner helped the Agents become MPL Philippines champions twice. He's also part of the core squad which took the M3 World Championship and the runner-up finish in the M4 edition. And with Jonmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna and Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario already enshrined in the hall, fans of the Tier One squad are clamoring for more. He was also dubbed as "Mr. Consistent" by some fans for his performance this MPL Season 11.

Allan "Lusty" Castromayor Jr.

Why not get another OG? Veteran squad Bren Esports already has two names in the Hall of Legends: Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel and Carlito "Ribo" Jr. Now fans want another player that hailed from this top-caliber organization. And for some fans, Lusty has been doing just that as a roamer for ZOL Esports. He has also won several MPL seasons with ArkAngel and Bren, as well as the M2 World Championship.

"Underrated talaga, best tank, world champ, S6 champ, SEA Games gold medalist," commenter Luther Roe Tolero posted.

Rob Luna

Some fans have also called for the enshrinement of shoutcaster Rob Luna, who passed away last March at 37. Many esports athletes and coaches have credited Luna for pushing them further and encouraging them behind the scenes.

Honorable mentions:

Fans have also cast their votes for Omega Esports' Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso and his coach Patrick "E2MAX" Caidic, as well as ECHO Proud's Jaypee "Jaypee" Cruz.

Active or retired MPL-PH professional players can be nominated. They must fulfill the three pillars for eligibility, which includes "Strength" or outstanding gaming skills, "Contribution" to the esports scene, and "Legacy" or the overall impact during their career.

Fans can vote on Facebook or TikTok and use the hashtags #LakasNgPinas, #MPLPHHallOfLegends, and #MPLPhilippines.

Last year's inaugural 10 Hall of Legends members were decided by a voting committee, which was made up of active players, coaches, Moonton, and the esports media.
