Brooke Van Sickle, Alyssa Solomon, and Angel Canino are set to join the Alas Pilipinas team training next week, adding firepower to the national team as they ready for upcoming tournaments in June.
Three of the biggest names in Filipino volleyball are expected to bolster the ranks of Alas Pilipinas as Brooke Van Sickle, Alyssa Solomon, and Angel Canino are all set to join the training pool next week.
“Next week all of them,” head coach Jorge De Brito confirmed to One Sports.
The Brazilian tactician added that the pool is “getting better” as more players begin to integrate into the system.
“Adjusting with all of them. Hard work in progress,” he said of the ongoing preparations.
Solomon is fresh off a standout final UAAP campaign, helping the NU Lady Bulldogs clinch back-to-back titles by sweeping the DLSU Lady Spikers in the Season 87 Finals.
