In the heat of volleyball battle, as the spikes fly and blocks soar, Alas Pilipinas’ outside hitter Noel Kampton finds his inner strength by being a certified fan of Taylor Swift.
The Alas Pilipinas already flew to Bahrain as they represent the Philippines for the 2024 AVC Men’s Challenge Cup on June 2–9, 2024.
But before they begin their quest to banner the Philippine flag, Kampton had already shared some of his pre-game rituals. One of them is listening to some tunes that can hype him up.
And his current favorite song is none other than “All Too Well” by Taylor Swift—10-MINUTE VERSION!!!
“Favorite song ko ngayon, puro Taylor Swift ako, eh. ‘Di ko alam kung nakaka-hype pero alam mo ‘yong All Too Well? 10 minute version! ‘Yon talaga pinapakinggan ko, eh,” he excitedly shared with One Sports.
Kampton has already declared his admiration for Taylor when he commented later in 2023 in One Sports+’s post about their former team in the Spikers’ Turf Invitational Conference, the EcoOil-La Salle. Since the headline was a pun for the “Anti-hero” singer’s hit song, “All Too Well," Kampton expressed his appreciation and said that he is a Swiftie.
“Swiftie rin po kami,” he wrote.
How could it not be a perfect hype song when it is the anthem for victories and heartbreaks with which they can reinvigorate their passion and fuel their performance?
